Configuring Group Administrators
To Add a Group Administrator
- Using CygNet Explorer, click on the ACS in the service hierarchy.
- Click the Group Admins page or right-click in the service window and click View Group Admins.
- Right-click in the Group Admins view and select Groups List.
- Click on the name of the Group for which you want to add the Group Administrator and click Edit.
- Click on the Group Admins page.
- Click New.
- Select the Security ID Type: AD - Active Directory, CG - CygNet Group, or US - User.
- In the Group or User text box, type the full login of the person.
- Click OK to return to the Properties for Group dialog box.
- Click OK to return to the Groups List dialog box.
- Click Close to close the Groups List dialog box.
To Edit a Group Administrator
- Using CygNet Explorer, click on the ACS in the service hierarchy.
- Click the Group Admins page or right-click in the service window and click View Groups.
- Right-click on the Group Administrator and click Group Admin Properties.
- Edit as necessary.
- Click OK or click View Group… to open the Properties for Group dialog box.
- You can also view Audit History… if desired.
To Delete a Group Administrator
- Using CygNet Explorer, click on the ACS in the service hierarchy.
- Click the Group Admins page or right-click in the service window and click View Group Admins.
- Right-click on the Group Administrator and click Delete Group Admin.
- Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
